Sharing your Experiences with your Service Learning Project
What are your experiences so far as you embark on your project?
How do your readings/coursework inform your practice?
Have there been any unexpected obstacles?
You may find it helpful to document your journey, both your frustrations and successes and share your insights and thoughts throughout the process with the class. You can utilize this page to share your thoughts and progress with your fellow classmates or start your own page. Reflection is crucial to your learning experience and will provide you with useful material for your final paper! :)
I'm having a difficult time getting a response back from Jo and Beth at MIWRC Library. I am just going to go there this afternoon to see if I can at least set up a firm appointment to finalize the details of the project I am going to do with them. I have had confirmation that I can do my service learning project with them but we haven't been able to set up a time to meet. It is a little frustrating when I think that I have done my part to be very clear in my communication with them. At the same time, I realize that this could be a cultural difference. I think I need to set out possible times and have them respond and pick one before I can go there. They may be sitting there saying, "she said she could come at this time, where is she?" So I guess I'll go and see what can be arranged. Cindy Lowe
